Hi! I am Youqing Sun who was born in Nanjing which is a pleasant city located in southeast China. Since my childhood, I have been a game enthusiast and I am not only interested in playing games but the concepts behind the machine running these games. Recently I just got my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineer, and I am seeking my career in Computer Industry. Web development has drawn my attention. Toronto Sept 2016 - June 2021

After I graduated from BCA, I got my offer From University of Toronto. I decided to choose Computer Engineering because I have always wanted to develop a software myself. With minimum programming background, I self-learned pergramming in C/C++, Python and Javascript and get to know concept of data structure and algorithms. Web development caught my eyes and I started to get more experience on that.

Nanjing Sept 2014 - May 2016

I have hear of this school as the best of our city since I was in primary school. I feel more vivid when I become a member of it. I feel every student in this school has their unique personality and I decided to seek mine. It was totally different education experience from my previous ones where I got to make decisions of my own. I chose my path in science where I took calculus, chemistry, physics, and programming.

2019 Sept

Software Developer Intership

Waterloo Sept 2019 - August 2020

I got my offer to McAfee Inc as a Software Developer Intern during the third year of university. It was my first intern in canada. Seniors lead me through the on boarding period and I was able to contribute to improve MSE system they were maintaining. My job was mostly related to C/C++ programming. I managed to boost the performance of their MSE alert system and wrote unit tests for their programs. We run automation tests and increase coverage of unit test for MSE project using Jenkins. Code development was mainly managed using Git/Github. All my teammates were very nice.
